Most “draw together” sites are whiteboards. Pixel Canvas is a public mural that other factions want to annex. That pressure is why the pictures get interesting.
Start in your spawn square — 28×28 pixels of guaranteed home. Build a flag, a meme, a tiny castle. Then push a road of your colour toward the crucible. The pixel art guides cover hearts, dragons, moons, and shading if you want craft before combat.
Friends: share pixelcanvas.app, pick the same faction, stand adjacent. There is no party finder. The banner is the party.

Can I just make art?
Yes, on tiles your faction owns. Repaint your land freely. Expanding still follows the border rule.
Is there a private canvas?
Not in Season 1. The whole 256×256 is public. Use your spawn as a studio.
